Our CEO and Founder Jan Maren Innes, suffered a catastrophic stroke in 2012. MedChild was founded 2015 to help provide acute medical care to children injured in war, injured in natural disasters, or born with congenital medical issues. We partner with the Shriners Hospital network in the United States, Canada and Mexico. Our Boston based prosthetic partner MCOP provides custom prosthetics.

When a child is accepted for care Shriners commit to that acute care until age 21. They provide free in patient care including return follow ups. As an example, children with prosthetics will require updates as they grow. This happens approximately every 18 months as a child’s bones only stop growing aged 16.
Shriners specializes in care for children with missing limbs, cerebral palsy, neuro muskoskelettal conditions, scoliosis, burns, cleft palate, club foot, sports injuries. They do not provide care for children with cancer.

Team have been Defender owners and lovers for decades. We realised there are Defender lovers who felt they were totally unaffordable. We set out to change that. We source your vehicle, our qualified mechanics in Scotland and Ireland will test drive, examine your vehicle pre purchase.
You provide your requirements. Please be aware that US DOT has import criteria.
The vehicle must be minimum 25 years old.
There must be no post factory modifications.
The vehicle must have no galvanised chassis.
We take care of the import to your destination. This is done through reputable experienced Shipping importer specialized in Land Rover Defenders.
The price we charge includes time taken to source your vehicle. Cost of import to US or Canada including all needed paperwork. Your responsibility : specify model, color of vehicle, deposit of 25% of total cost on contract signature. Must have full clean US driving licence
